In this post, we cover everything you need to know about jet pumps and how they operate. You may even learn about how they get us water everyday!

The major parts that are really crucial in jet pumps are the ejector and also motor. The ejector is what does the work and pulls the water up from your well. It is a magic straw that can go deep beneath our feet. Ejectors — these come in two flavours. Shallow Ejector (Up to 25 Feet) The other type is the deep well ejector, capable of lifting water from up to 110 feet down a well! That is really deep!

A Technical Overview

The water, as it rises up from the ejector, mixes with air. The water/air mix is pushed up a pipe and into the house. That's where the engine comes in. A motor is what provides power to the pump. It forces the water back through that pipe and into your home, so we will always have running water when needed.
